Earth Berm House
In 2000, John started an earth berm home. It was completed in 2010, the project helped him keep the forest preserved by building it into a hill with a living grass roof. This home blends in with the earth and brings the nature in. "It's a soul project that I want to continue sharing with our guests."

Tiny Log Cabin
The Tiny Log Cabin started with a door, literally. A neighbor gave John a door from his house. He decided to build a cabin around this door. This was also the door that opened up the idea of a retreat center.

Camping is a wise option if you want to enjoy all the benefits of TCRC at an eco-price. Camping also allows for a larger group up to 6 people. Living outside with nature can be a deeper enhancement to what you maybe searching for.
Camp out on out property, bring your own tents and supplies. Grill avilable for use.

We want to open TCRC to anyone who wants to enjoy the grounds and center for a single day. May be great for locals, passerby’s, individuals with special needs and summer day camp trips.
If you just need a day to regroup, restore, let go, and connect more to nature and yourself, TCRC is a beautiful option. A La Carte options for more outdoor fun are available too!
Immerse yourself in the community garden, go for a hike, ride your bike on the trails,
bring a picnic lunch/cook on the grill, sit in nature, make a fire in the firepit.
