We offer you and your loved ones to get grounded! Spend quality time connecting and creating through gardening, yoga, hiking, boating, woodworking, art making, vegetarian based community cooking.

BOATING

Take a boat ride or fish at our local waters, Lake Orange, Lake Chadewick, and even the Hudson River. If you have a capable vehicle we will help you get situated and go, if not we can bring you the boat and fishing supplies to the lake. At that time, we will set up a time for us to pick you up. John is a fisherman of several decades. If you would rather a guided trip, John can help. He will guide up to 3 people on a tour of the Hudson River through the areas of Newburg and Beacon. Weather permitting.

 

 

WOODWORKING WITH JOHN
WOODWORKING WITH JOHN

Together with John, you will come up with a project that will take about 2 hours. Anything you make will be created out of the amazing natural resource of wood, that is ever so present at Terra Casa. Get hands on guidance from the creative, skilled eco builder, and artist John. Projects can be completed with 1-2 people. Some ideas include: bench, chair, picture frame, napkin holder, or a Computer.

 

Anything made you get to take home with you. Give it to someone who will appreciate your hands on artwork or keep it for yourself.

 

COMMUNITY COOKING

Let us come together for however many community meals you would like to cook together and connect with natures abundance. Meals will be nourishing, plant based foods with many items being organic. We also cook grains and use same quality We focus on foods that are: life sustaining-life foods, antioxidants, superfoods, proteins, hydrating, immune support, high vitality foods.

 

*Amber may double check with meal ideas when you arrive to make sure you will be nourished and sustained well during your stay. She will also lead the community meals and everyone will participate in cutting veggies, making sauces, setting the table, prep salad, wash dishes, etc. So come prepared to be engaged, learn some new dishes and some techniques along the way. 

 

HIKING

Hike our 150 acres with several cleared trails and feel yourself melting into the moment. A lot of the trails are level and one is more moderate. Enjoy the themed trails like our yogi walk, sitting stones, and florescent/ color central. That are continually cleared by our community hikers, many using recycled materials. 

ARTMAKING
ARTMAKING

Sit down with a variety of art materials; paint, paper, wood, crayons, books, spray acrylic, watercolors, yarn, string, metal, beads, brushes, and go to town with your own creativity. Or if you would like to plan something with, finely trained artist Amber, she can help you seek out your intention, and help a1rtistically guide you along the way. Some projects include: painting, drawing a photography you love, scripting a quote on paper or a wood plaque, make abstract or realistic sculpture with varied materials, make a 2D collage with mixed media, draw out an animal or shape on wood, then John will cut it for you, you can then paint it, make bead jewelry.

YOGA WITH AMBER

To start the day with a restorative yoga class taught by RYT Instructor Amber. Incorporating guided meditation, breath work, opening pores, strengthen, and balance, as well as connecting philosophy into her class. Amber will tailor the session to your needs/ or the needs of the group. Whether they be meditation, quieting the mind, altering energy, poses for strength, flexibly, balance, or to learn more about your self.

GARDENING

Get your hands, feet, and all that you can into the earth as you learn or re-connect with a start to finish gardening season.

 

1st month- Make beds, till soil, choose plants seeds.

2nd month- Plant

3rd month- Prune/care

4th month - Pick and enjoy! Cook your crops while you’re here then take the rest home.
